Account details — your email address, name, and password (handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see your password).

Musician and venue profiles — band or venue name, home city, genres, social and payment links, schedules, and song lists. This information is meant to be public and is shown to fans. Musicians can choose whether their phone and email appear on the public musician register; it is off unless they turn it on.

Activity in the app — song requests, follows, RSVPs (Going / Interested), open mic and karaoke sign-ups, claims, and messages you send through features like Request to Play.

If you tap "Use My Location," your device shares its location with the app so we can show shows near you. That location is kept on your device only — it is not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

If you type a city instead, that text is sent to a mapping service to look up its coordinates.

Basic technical data such as device type, operating system, browser, IP address, and the pages you visit, collected by our hosting and Firebase services to run and secure the app.

If you allow notifications, a push-notification token for your device so we can alert you (for example, when a band you follow goes live).

To run RequestIT: show listings, deliver song requests to musicians, send notifications and account emails, process claims, and keep the service secure.

To contact you about your account and, occasionally, about RequestIT features. You can ask us to stop marketing emails at any time.

We do not sell your personal information.

Pro subscriptions on the web are processed by Stripe; in the iOS and Android apps they are processed by Apple or Google (through RevenueCat). We never receive or store your full card number.

Tips go directly to musicians through their own payment links (such as Venmo). RequestIT does not process tips or take a cut.

We rely on trusted providers to operate the app, including Google Firebase (accounts, database, hosting functions), Netlify (website hosting), Stripe, Apple, Google, and RevenueCat (payments), and Resend (transactional email). They process data only to provide their services to us, under their own privacy policies.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or when we believe in good faith it is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of RequestIT, our users, or others.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable time afterward. To delete your account or any information you've provided, email info@dualstreamentertainment.com and we'll respond in a reasonable time.

RequestIT is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact info@dualstreamentertainment.com and we will delete it.

We use physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the new version here with a new "last updated" date.
